영국 서리 대학교(University of Surrey)에서 박사학위(Ph.D.)를 받았으며, 현재 캐나다 맥매스터 신학교의 신약학 교수다. A Discourse Analysis of the Structure of Hebrews: Relationship between Form and Meaning 등을 저술했고, The Bible and Social Justice 등 다수의 책을 공동 편집했다. 2018년에 Paul and Gender로 「크리스채너티 투데이」의 공로상(Award of Merit)을 수상했다.
