¡ºMiracle Jesus¡»

The greatest miracle God has ever

given us is sending Jesus into this world

to save our lives and this world!

Jesus came to those who were in despair and

pain. He then performed miracles

that brought love and hope to those people.

It's a miracle that Jesus came to us.

It is a time when COVID-19 is sweeping the world, leaving us with fear from not knowing when it would end, with despair from an uncertain future, and leaving us with hopeless people whose relationships are cut off from the society. There needs to be a good news in their lives and ours. It is time for a miracle in our lives; lives where hope is no where to be found.

2,000 years ago, Jesus came to this world. He came to the Israelites who was waiting for the Messiah to come and to save them from pain and misery. He came to those suffering from despair and allowed many miracles which restored their lives and souls. He then proclaimed about hope of the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God came upon the lives of those who met Jesus. Their lives were renewed to be filled with hope and joy.

¡ºMiracle Jesus¡», a spiritual training book for the Advent season, categorizes Jesus¡¯ stories in which he performed the miracle of amazing love and hope to this world. It is about Jesus who calmed the sea for the disciples, terrified from strong wind and waves. It is about Jesus who brought life to Jairus¡¯ dead daughter. It is about Jesus who fed 5,000 people who were tired from life¡¯s worries. It is about Jesus who allowed Bartimaeus, a blind man with no hint of hope in his life, to see. Lastly, it is about the biggest miracle : Jesus who came in this world to save our lives and this world.

As we wait for Jesus in the Advent and Christmas season, I hope you remember that all of Jesus¡¯ miracles were full of love for this world, especially to those who were agonized with despair and pain. Furthermore, I hope the miracle of Jesus¡¯ love would be among those in fear, those who are weary, those who are in hunger, those who are hopeless, and within the churches and in the world. Let the hope and love of God¡¯s kingdom be fulfilled in this world.
