달라스 신학교에서 신약학으로 STM 학위(Highest Honor)를 받았다. 담임 목회자로 미국에 있는 이민 교회들을 섬겼고, 현재는 실리콘밸리 IT 스타트업에서 Business Intelligence 디렉터 및 Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary에서 조교수로 활동하고 있다. Journal of Theological Studies, Biblica, Novum Testamentum, Journal for the Study of the New Testament, Journal for the Study of the Old Testament, Religions, Journal of Ancient Judaism, Journal of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism 등 다수의 학술지에 논문들을 출판했다. 사랑하는 아내와 세 자녀들과 함께 달라스에 거주하며 일과 연구에 힘쓰고 있다.
